What is Computer?

C=Common
O=Oriented/Operating
M=Machine
P=Particularly
U=United and user under
T=Technical
E=Educational
R=Research

A computer is an electronic device that stores and processes data.
It includes both hardware and software.
            OR
A computer is an electronic device that manipulates information, or "data."

It has the ability to store, retrieve, and process data. You can use a computer
to type writers, send email, Play Games, and browse the internet. You can also use it
to programming , database management, accounting, presentations,
Mathematical Calculations,  Electronics, and more.

A computer consists of the following major hardware
components.
 Central processing unit (CPU)
 Memory (main memory)
 Storage devices (e.g., disks, CDs, tapes)
 Input and output devices (e.g., monitors, printers, keyboards, mice)
 Communication devices (e.g., modems and network interface cards)
